The Illogical Path

Human learning does not follow a logical path; it is a psychological journey involving fear, loss and new discoveries.

The journey begins with the awareness that we are the deciders about who we are in the matter of our lives.

Am I a worn-down cog in the blunt instrumentation of our educational system?

Can I smooth out my idiosyncrasies enough

to get into a good college/ good performance reviews,

but not too much that I fail to look unique?

Or do I step away from the machinery to see myself as engineer?

When we choose to move our so called selves from immutable object to crackling dynamic,

we discover once again

that

we

are

fire

(as well as the match, the kindling, the ash

and the phoenix).
